FAQs

Yes. Ganbina is a registered charity with DGR-1 status. This means that all donations $2 or greater are tax deductible in Australia. If you are donating outside of Australia, you will need to enquire with your local tax office whether your donation is tax deductible.

Ganbina chooses to not seek government funding because this allows for greater independence. We have found that philanthropic and corporate funding is generally more long-term than government funding, which allows us to be sustainable and deliver our program to two generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and youth in the Goulburn Valley.

All donations received go towards the operation costs of our Jobs4U2 program.

We do not allow for donors to request their donation go towards specific program elements within Jobs4U2. This is because depending on when the donation is received, some of the program elements may be fully funded for the year. We therefore ensure that rather than adding additional donations to a program that is already fully funded, that donation is allocated to a program element that is in need of funding.

Yes. Ganbina values complete transparency and we publish our financials in our annual reports. You can access all of our current and annual reports here.
